How did the Enterprise Leadership major contribute to your career?
"My Enterprise Leadership major paired with Informatics and Spanish minors prepared me to be adaptable in an ever changing environment. Learning how to think like an entrepreneur helped me stand out as a candidate in job interviews because I am able to use my diverse background to prove how I can add value to different organizations. The major also gave me time to show leadership in other areas of my degree like running a business club, working throughout college, and participating in Startup Games, all of which translated directly to work readiness."
What advice would you give to a student interested in pursuing a job or career field like yours?
"In the business world it's not what you know, it's who you know." I am 5 years into my career and I can see how true this statement is. There are many people who are qualified for the same job, but it is your network that can help you get to the next level. Additionally, while it's important to have a stable 9-5, your 5-9 is also important. My passions include fitness instructing, working to advance the LGBTQIA+ community, and spending time with family and friends."
