The Future of Filmmaking: VFX, AI, and Visual Storytelling with Matt Whelan
Matt Philip Whelan is an Emmy-winning Visual Effects Supervisor, second unit director, and classical animator based in Canada. With over 15 years of experience across narrative films, episodic television, and commercials, he blends traditional storytelling with cutting-edge digital techniques.
A graduate of Sheridan College’s classical animation program, Whelan has contributed to major productions worldwide. He earned a Primetime Emmy® and a VES Award for his work on Apple TV+’s Five Days at...
