Job Description: As an HR Associate at ContiTech, I support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance for a manufacturing workforce of more than 200 employees. I also lead employee engagement and communication initiatives by developing company-wide communications, managing internal platforms, coordinating recognition programs, and creating innovative programs that enhance the employee experience while supporting organizational growth.

"My Enterprise Leadership degree provided me with the leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills needed to succeed in a professional environment. As part of the program, I was required to complete an internship for a class, which led to the opportunity that became my current career. The combination of classroom learning and hands-on experience prepared me to confidently transition into the workforce and continue growing as an HR professional."
 

What advice would you give to a student interested in pursuing a job or career field like yours?

"My advice would be to gain as much hands-on experience as possible through internships, campus involvement, or part-time roles, as those opportunities can open doors and help you discover what area of HR you enjoy most. Be willing to ask questions, take on new challenges, and build relationships with professionals in the field because those experiences and connections can be just as valuable as what you learn in the classroom. Staying adaptable and maintaining a positive attitude will help you succeed in a career where every day brings something new."
