"The degree gave great foundational knowledge going into corporate settings, allowing me to be a true jack of all trades employee in all of my roles post-grad. Because of this, it allowed me to be creative and seek opportunities across roles, organizations, and industries to better find my niche/passions when it comes to my career."
 

What advice would you give to a student interested in pursuing a job or career field like yours?

"If you're wanting a career that offers a corporate environment and allows you to positively impact people and society, consider going into association work. There are endless leadership opportunities across a huge range of industries within the association field, it's a collaborative and supportive environment filled with great member interactions, and it's very rewarding knowing you are actively improving the lives of your members and society."
